PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Processes all BGE Extension Relocation Contracts (ERC’s) in connection with customer requested services. Receives customer payment and updates payment information in Asset Suite 8. Manages the certificate process to include assurance of timely and accurate receipt of data from various municipalities through various mediums (i.e. RightFax, email, U.S. mail) to ensure information is correctly applied to existing jobs or is posted to system and issues are resolved. Reviews and monitors permits to ensure they are applied and not nearing expiration to facilitate field construction as required. Applies for permit extensions or reapplications through various municipalities as needed. Manages the overall joint trench billing process and external website ensuring accuracy of billing, credit and transfer transactions, as well as following up on past due payments. Coordinates joint trench billing disputes with vendors and leadership. Coordinates resolution of issues related to work orders/tasks and certificates/permitting with municipalities and job owners as needed. Forwards ERC’s, customer payment and joint trench related data to Revenue Processing for further processing. Performs training and maintains documentation on processes for certificates, permit applications and ERC’s for other groups within the Company. Keeps various files and records. Prepares statistical summaries and reports of pending and completed work. Answers inquiries concerning standard practices, certificates, permitting, and billing requirements. Retrieves and updates information in company computer systems including Asset Suite 8, Hyperion and CC&B.

May be required to respond to emergency events.
Qualifications
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of standard Company software including Asset Suite 8.
- General knowledge of job packaging and/or billing processes preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to handle high volume work.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to details.
Education/Experience:
- Four years of clerical experience or equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience.
